Scarlett Rose SMA Fund

Welcome

Welcome to the
Scarlett Rose Taylor SMA Fund!

The Scarlett Rose Taylor SMA Fund was established to support children of the
Womens' and Childrens' Hospital, South Australia
who have Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA)
or related conditions, genetic disease or other degenerative neuromuscular conditions.

The Fund is a Community Supporter of the Womens' and Childrens' Hospital Foundation (WCH Foundation), the major fundraising body of the hospital.

Scarlett's Fund is dedicated to the memory of

                Scarlett Rose Taylor
,

who lost her life at 8 months, 5 days to SMA, on October 29, 2006. Through her short, but happy and eventful life, she was cared for entirely at home, with the support of the Palliative Care Unit, Novita and her pediatrician, Dr Phil Egan.

We aim to conduct a range of different fundraising
activites so information regarding these will be added to the website over time. In the meantime you can support potential recipients through donations, through our Fundraising Eshop, or by supporting our mascot, our purebred racehorse and chestnut filly,
Scarlett Rose, of Kirkliston Stud, who is trained by Richard Jolly from Richard Jolly Racing.

Please see our E-SHOP for unique items to purchase, such as the 'never be without one again' BBox for nappies (by BBox), our gorgeous hand-made felt monsters (by Angry Panda).

Visit Our Supporters page for links to allergy awareness t-shirts, stickers and labels (by Star Allergy Alerts), book and clothing labels, school bags, canvas art (by MOOO) with more to come!

Please contact the Fund Manager if you seek further information about SMA or the Fund, wish to be involved in fundraising, seek further information regarding the site, or have suggestions
for fundraising activities.
